Hey, awesome rant about the use of logic and arrogance. You mentioned that people sometimes use this argument to talk about trans* issues. Can I ask what do you mean? I'm trans, and I'm not sure I got the point you were making, but I was super curious. Great blog :)

Yeah, I did a rant about this once, but I’ll have to find it and reblog it when I can hop on my computer. Basically, I can’t can’t can’t stand those assholes who say shit like “well, if I decide I’m a tree right now, will you prune me?” They are so full of themselves, they can’t fathom the idea that they don’t know shit about the subject and that their “logical thought experiments” are faulty from the beginning. They’re talking to hear themselves talk and make everyone else feel inferior.

Ironically, while they’re trying to get everyone to suck their intellectual dick, they can’t even grasp the very basic concept that gender is a social concept, not a biological one.
